Goldi has been adopted!

Goldi was found in a field with 14 newborn puppies.  No food.  No shelter.  No one cared.  Three of the pups had already died.  Goldi and the remaining 11 puppies were taken to a veterinarian where they received immediate care and were then sent to a PETS, Inc  foster home.  We never imagined that all of the remaining pups would survive.  But they did.  Even the blind one (Merlot).  Goldi was an exceptional mommy dog and an excellent house guest for her foster family.  She has spent the last 6 weeks communing with their dogs and cats and a Dr. Doolittle collection of farm animals.  Goldi has demonstrated a gentle and loving character with all of the animals and every human, young or old, that she's encountered.  She is an appreciative dog ... maybe because life was so hard for her before, she is delighted with every nice thing that comes her way.  So if you are looking for a little unconditional love, you really should meet Goldi.
