Patches has been Adopted!

Old dogs get thrown out too.  Patches was in dreadful condition when she first arrived.  We weren't sure the old girl was going to make it but after a few weeks in a great foster home, her eye infections have cleared and she has put on weight.  She is still a bit wobbly when she walks but then our hard slick floors are a challenge even for young dogs.  Patches stays in her bed most of the time.  She loves the bed and the sweater  (we told her that red is definitely her color) and she loves to be held.  We know that not many people will be interested in providing a retirement home for an old dog ... especially when they hear that she needs frequent potty breaks ... but we are hoping that someone special is out there with an empty doggie bed and a soft lap for this tiny dog.
