CLINTON – (ID#: A34181334; Intake dates: 12/09/16* & 02/21/17; Approx original intake age*: 4 yo; Gender: M)

Hey, yall!  My name is Clinton, a handsome, social (with adults and other dogs) and energetic Tibetan Terrier who first came to PETSinc from Fairfield County Animal Services.  I was adopted after a month but was returned to PETSinc another month later because I had some problems making the adjustment to my new home. I have been training with our trainer, Col. Tom Kelly, and some of our great volunteers who have been teaching me how to be a charming gentleman.  My friends say I’m doing really well but need a structured and consistent home environment (without the distraction of young children) where appropriate rules and boundaries are enforced to help me excel and feel secure.  I recently spent three weeks in a foster on a trial basis and got really high marks!  And get this — with my adoption, Col. Tom will provide a free go-home training session (at the shelter) and then 3 additional free in-home sessions to help me and my new family succeed together!  Let’s do this!!  Please call my friends at the center for more information about me.  (803-739-9333)

TRUST – (ID#: A36433025; Intake date: 08/31/17; Approx intake age: 2 mo; Gender:  F)

Howdy, folks!  My name is Trust. I am a sweet Australian Shepherd mix who came to PETSinc after being found on the side of the road.  During my intake exam, the vet discovered I have the most severe type of Bilateral Medial Patellar Luxation or a “popping out” of the kneecap, and corrective surgery was required.  My friends at PETSinc tell me there were a whole bunch of really awesome people out there who have helped pay for my surgery so I can live a pain-free, normal life.  Dr. Chappell performed corrective surgery on both of my back knees by aligning them and holding them in place with steel plates.  I did really well during both surgeries, and am now doing the physical therapy phase of my recovery, stretching my back legs and learning to walk and run on them correctly.  I am in a great foster home and not yet available for adoption, but I heard you can stop by PETSinc to complete an application if you are interested in becoming my human after my surgeries.  For more information about me, please call my friends at the PETSinc center.  (803-739-9333)
